At Hagerstown Christian Church you will find a loving and caring church family who is passionate about worshiping Jesus Christ. Here’s what to expect when visiting HCC for the first time:
Worship Service
Our worship service begins at 10:30 AM and usually lasts until 12:00. This includes 30 minutes of music, prayer, and Scripture reading. We sing a mix of modern praise music and contemporary hymns. This time is followed by a 40-50 minute message. Most of our sermons are expositional in nature as we preach through books of the Bible. We close each service in song and prayer.
Attire
From shorts, slacks, to suits whatever your preference, our goal is simply to glorify God and dress modestly. We are more concerned with the person in the clothes than the clothes on the person.
Parking
We have a small parking lot behind the church and ample street parking on Hammond and Linganore. Come early to find a closer spot!
Children
Our worship service is “family style”, and as such children are with us during music, prayer, and Scripture reading. Before the sermon we dismiss children to attend age-based classes. We offer nursery, pre-school, and elementary school aged classes. You are also welcome to keep your children in the service the entire time.
